From Newcastle
Proceed west along A69 until roundabout at Brampton, then take third exit signposted Brampton. Then take the first right signposted Castle Carrock. Proceed to the end of the road then turn right at the crossroads signposted Castle Carrock. Follow the road and Talkin Tarn is on the left approximately 100metres after the level crossing.
From M6 J43
Proceed east along the A69 until the roundabout. Take the second exit from roundabout, then first right signposted Castle Carrock. At the end of the road turn right at the crossroads signposted Castle Carrock. Follow the road and Talkin Tarn is on the left approximately 100metres after the level crossing.
From M6 J44
Proceed east along the A689 until the roundabout. Take the first exit from roundabout, then first right. At the end of the road turn right at the crossroads signposted Castle Carrock. Follow the road and Talkin Tarn is on the left approximately 100metres after the level crossing.
